When Nobody Sees Us is based on the Sergio Sarria novel of the same name. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Spanish Holy Week celebrations,  the series is a thriller led by two policewomen trying to solve a series of crimes in the Andalusian town of Morón de la Frontera, in the political and cultural region of Seville’s so-called ‘deep Spain, ’ which is home to one of the biggest international U.S. military bases. Lucía Gutiérrez is a sergeant of the Spanish Civil Guard investigating the bizarre suicide of a neighbour and strange events that have taken place during the first Holy Week float processions. Magaly Castillo is a Special Agent of the Military Police of the United States Army sent to find out the whereabouts of a missing American soldier who seems to be linked to the shady business of Colonel Douglas Hoopen, head of the Air Force Base, and an underhanded marine,  Lieutenant Andrew Taylor. They soon discover that the two investigations are connected.！
